Reps tell us that Lone Star's Mark Deklin will play tthe role of Stan, Danny's ex-wife's Rachel's (Claire Van Der Boom) new husband, as well as Grace's stepfather on CBS' Hawaii Five-0. According to the original casting call, Stan is "a handsome, wealthy, international businessman who recorded a corrupt Housing Commissioner demanding a bribe and threatened to indict the man. Stan's behavior has unwittingly put Grace and Rachel in danger. He's humbled by Danny's anger and grateful for his help." Stan first appears in the Feb. 7 episode of H50, "E Malama."

Na auf den Auftritt des schönen "Step Stan" bin ich ja auch mal gespannt aber noch viel mehr auf Danny`s Reaktionen

Da freu ich mich auch schon drauf, wie diese beiden miteinander umgehen. Der Mark ist ja ein ziemliches Sahneschnittchen, der kommt sicher gut an, wenn er den Stan nicht grad totla unsympathisch spielen muss.

Okay.. ich weiss jetzt gerade nicht wohin ich das packen soll.. aber hier ist es sicher gut aufeghoben.. die Ratings für die Pilotfolge in Australien sind da.. Und nicht erschrecken 1,5 Millionen sind für die ein gutes ergebniss...

Hoffen wir das die Zahlen auch bei der nächsten Episode gut sind....

Australien ist so gross, dass man automatisch meint, es müssten auch mehr Leute sein. So 1,5 Mio ist extrem wenig (sind ja doch über 20 Mio Einwohner), aber wenn H5 seine Zeitschiene dominiert hat, dann ist es ja offenbar gut gelaufen. Die haben wohl allgemein Interesssanteres zu tun, als TV zu gucken... *g*.

After much anticipation, last night I sat down to finally watch the new Hawaii Five-O with plenty of popcorn and bubbly on hand. And let me just say – I was not disappointed. The show was action packed and funny but probably my favourite thing of all was Aussie actor Alex O’Loughlin as Steve McGarrett. He was absolutely smokin’, I think I have a full-blown crush going on. Alex used to date Holly Valance but I can overlook that.

For anyone who didn’t watch it or was a little unsure, I can recommend it. I thought it would be really blokey actiony but it was sharp and funnier than expected. the chemistry between O’Loughlin and his on-screen partner Scott Caan (Danno) was one of the highlights. Major bromance.

“Hawaii Five-0″ Contracts Aerial Filmworks for New Cineflex HD Aerial Sequences


The hit show “Hawaii Five-0” contracted Aerial Filmworks to provide the Cineflex V14HD and camera operators for the latest aerial scenes. The crew filmed on the Big Island, Maui and Oahu. “The Cineflex allowed us to quickly film a number of sequences at a wide variety of locations,” states Mark Gerasimenko, one of Hawaii Five-O’s camera operators. “We shot on 3 different islands over two days, and the Cineflex footage immediately was edited into next week’s show. And most important, the Cineflex is easy to ship and fast to install which really helps our budgets.”
