Hello People….
It’s 6.30am and I have just woken up. It’s my birthday today. I am 30. WOO HOO!
I have 2 hours before a car picks me and takes me to a secret location in London to film scenes on a tube train.
It’s fun being back in front of the camera…. (more will be revealed).
I wanted to write today to say thank you to all the ASM members for their Birthday wishes.
It’s heartwarming to read your posts and I hope you are all well and happy.
Also to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone involved in making my beautiful keepsake book for Moonlight. Special thanks again to Lee Ann Gradwell.
I spoke to Alex O’loughlin last night and he is eagerly awaiting
the arrival of his keepsake book.
He informs me that he is shooting his new show. He’s tanned, he’s toned and he’s getting his tits out in Hawaii! We shall never forget the magic of Moonlight. (See photo)
I need to make coffee at this point so I bid you all farewell.

Hier ein laanges Interview mit David Blue, der den Logan spielte. Auf Seite 3 redet er über Moonlight, und wie absolut plötzlich wohl die Absetzung kam, völlig unerwartet für alle. Und dass ein ML-Movie noch immer nicht völlig vom Tisch ist. Hier einige Auszüge:

Assuming there is a next episode. Now when Moonlight got canceled, I got more emails and comments than for any other canceled show. What do you think connected people with Moonlight?

I think it was a couple things. In a weird, weird way, and I know this sound pretentious, I think it was before its time. It could have been a popular vampire show, but it was like a year too early. Right before the "vampire boom" hit.

I credit a lot of it to Alex O'Loughlin. He's a friend of mine, so I'm biased now, but I thought he brought a lot to it. He was very committed to the project and to the role. I was impressed, in many conversations with him where I asked questions that I expected arcane answers, and he had really complicated ideas about where the story should go. ...

Logan seemed to be positioned for a larger role in the future.

When I auditioned for it, it was a one-episode, small guest-starring role. Then they kept bringing me back, and expanding, expanding, expanding. And -- one of the coolest things about the show, and one of the most disappointing, is, I'll tell you right now, on that last day of shooting, where I met Claudia Black actually, the showrunner came up to us and said, "Here's some ideas I'm pitching for season 2, we're going to do it right now, we can't wait to shoot it."

We left -- after a long day of filming, like a fifteen-hour day of filming, with Alex coming up to me saying, "Hey, I'm looking forward to working with you next year. We love the stuff you're doing, you're going to be a bigger part of the show," telling me some ideas that were going to happen, and -- it wasn't a "Let's hope we get renewed." The sense that day was, "See you next month." ...

So I have to ask if you've heard anything new about a Moonlight movie.

Nothing official. I've kept in touch with Alex and Jason Dohring, the three of us have stayed friends. And I saw Jason Dohring at Sundance, actually, and I asked him what he'd heard, and I had lunch with Alex the other day. At the moment it seems like everyone feels like it's rumbling. Like, no one has said anything official, there's no paperwork being signed, but I know that there is interest. I know at least Alex, Jason, and myself have said, "If it happens, I'm in. As long as the scheduling works, I'm totally in." It's just a matter of everyone else deciding to do it. If it'll happen, I don't know. I think it would be smart of them, if for no other reason than how popular vampires are nowadays. ...

jo denke die gesamte Crew wurde total überfahren mit der Absetzung von Moonlight wenn man das Interview so liest haben die alle schon Pläne für die zweite Staffel gemacht...die armen scheint so als ob nicht nur Alex die "krasse" Absetzung von ML verdauen musste

ML geht wieder auf Sendung! Nur leider nicht hier sondern in den USA. Das heisst, es werden neue Alex Fans dazukommen! Das hiesse auch, das wenn H5 anläuft ML gerade wieder vorbei ist und die Leute schon ganz bedudelt sein werden von Alex und dann geht es direkt weiter! Und DAS heisst, das es Alex Jahr wird! Werden MUSS! Volles Programm Alex! Wie geil ist das!

The CW holt «Moonlight» ins Sommerprogramm
„The Vampire Diaries“ und „Moonlight“ ab 3. Juni 2010

Neuer Donnerstagabend bei The CW: Das US-Network kramt Moonlight aus und zeigt es im Anschluss an Wiederholungen von The Vampire Diaries. Supernatural-Reruns werden am Freitag zu sehen sein.

Im Sommer gehen die Broadcasting-Networks keine große Risiken ein und überlassen den Kabelsendern das Feld, so auch beim kleinen Fernsehkanal The CW, der schon in der regulären TV-Season große Quoten-Probleme hat. Aber was wäre ein Sommer ohne die eine oder andere Überraschung der Networks?

Wie The CW via Pressemitteilung bekannt gab, hat der US-Sender die Wiederholungsrechte an der 16-teiligen CBS-Vampir-Serie „Moonlight“ erworben. Ab dem 3. Juni 2010 nimmt das Format den Donnerstag-21-Uhr-Sendeplatz ein und wird im Anschluss an „The Vampire Diaries“ zu sehen sein. Somit steht der Donnerstag im Sommer komplett unter dem Motto Vampire.

Das ist toll! Find ich ne super Idee von denen. Wenn neue Leute Alex in ML entdecken und ihm verfallen, bleiben sie für Hawaii 5-0 dann gleich dran. Und die es schon kannten und mittlerweile wieder vergessen haben, werden vllt. erneut süchtig.

Noch besser wär halt ne Wiederholung hier in Deutschland.
